a scare

I thought my computer finally went kaput on me....luckily it was resuscitated after forcing it to shut down. The screen blank and then miraculously turned itself on, although it did flash some cryptic message about windows not being applied properly or something... after minutes of interminable waiting, for the computer to conduct its self-chk, and counting down till the percentage of check completed showed a big 100, the familiar windows music started playing... phew...
Maybe its time i start scouting for a replacement and backing up my files...
